SO GOOD. best indian food we have ever had and we have had alot. great prices and the sweetest family owns it. 10/10. It’s located right next to the fort in a beautiful garden. you can see the ocean and there is so much to do around here. come check them out. Amazing food. we drove from orlando to try and it did not disappoint
We had such a pleasant experience at Gourmet Garden Indian Restaurant! We got the butter chicken with rice and the owner even let us taste it before bringing it out to make sure it was the right spice level for us. Very nice ambiance with a beautiful garden and very nice staff. Would definitely come back next time we’re in St. Augustine :)
I had a most enjoyable experience. The atmosphere, ambiance, and overall vibe were quite pleasant. The owner of the restaurant was incredibly kind. Even though we arrived after closing, he graciously welcomed us and took our order, especially considering we were with a child. The food was prepared in a homely style and was very clean. My kid to received a complimentary mango lassi. The owner shared his experiences, and it is evident that this restaurant is a true passion of his. மிக்க நன்றி அண்ணா மீண்டும் சந்திப்போம்!
Authentic food because it’s made with love and care. The couple was so kind to us and even offered something for our dog! We were met with warm smiles, open hearts, and gentleness. I’ve included the best photo I have of the food because we couldn’t wait to taste it!! Great chai, delicious Britain, samosas, and REAL Chai. Loved it and can’t wait to visit more and more!
I'm sitting here now leaving a review. Never done that before. This curry hut is awsome, great atmosphere beautiful garden, but the thing that sells it is the owners. The best people I've ran into in St. Augustine. We stopped here, had beers with long lost friends and the owner made us his signature pepper chicken. Don't skip by this curry hut. I will come back if I'm ever here again.
I went to Gourmet Indian with a group of 9, and we had the most unexpectedly delightful experience!! The owners were a lovely husband and wife duo who made everything from scratch for us. The husband brought each person a taste test of their dish to see if they liked the spice level - that was impressive! We would be back regularly if we lived in town. Don’t miss this wonderful, unique experience!
This is a good option for an inexpensive, healthy meal in St Augustine. Contrary to the experience of some other people, the owner was very nice. He even offered us a taste test for spiciness before finishing the cooking process. But understand it is a new business just getting started. He is serving on paper plate and with plastic utensils. It makes for a nice picnic experience in a beautiful garden. Not for snobs.
This place is a hidden gem amongst all the flashy restaurants in the area. We ordered butter chicken and chicken curry and they were both delicious. Some of the best Indian food we’ve had. The outdoor lit garden setting lends itself to very good ambience. The owner is very passionate and friendly
